Orange Butter Frosting

An accompaniment to Chris's Birthday Spice Cake

Ingredients
  

  • ¼ cup Butter softened*
  • 2 cup Powdered Sugar
  • ¼ tsp Salt
  • 1 tbsp Agave Honey, White Corn Syrup or Simple Syrup are acceptable alternatives
  • 1 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 1 tbsp Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp Orange zest

Instructions
 

  • Cream butter and powdered sugar together until smooth.
  • Beat in salt and agave until smooth.
  • Add lemon and orange juice as well as zest. Again mix until smooth.

Notes

*Cream cheese would be a great tasty replacement for butter.
