Thanksgivings over :(

Well, I hope everyone had a good thanksgiving. I did. It was great to see my family and although the drive is always long and I’m exhausted afterwards, I had a great time and wouldn’t change it for the world. Except the eating too much part. 🙂

Here’s a pic of the Greek girls.
Cousin, me, little sister and cousin.

Chris cam along with me and I think he had a good time. At least my Big Fat Greek Family didn’t completely scare him off. That’s a good sign, cause I really think he’s a keeper.
I worked on the new neck warmer and the Elizabeth Zimmermann Spiral Hat. The neck warmer came out good. But I ended up ripping the first hat and starting over cause I couldn’t get the top right. Still didn’t get the top right the second time around. and I made it slightly larger the second time. I might rippit again. I’m not feeling it. I want it to look the way it does in the pic, but I can’t seem to get it right! Look here for how it should look.
But I am LOVING this color, it’s called grass, it’s by Lion. I think that this is going to be mu winter accent color.

I thought I had pulled a photo of the top, I’ll have to do that later so you can see how off it is. Has anyone else done one? Did you have problems or is this a Maria specific issue, I’d be willing to bet the former, but just thought I’d ask.

Well, I’m going to keep working on my doctor bag, I kinda put it off to the side, but I wanna get back to that, OH and I’m going to make mittens out of the same Grass colored yarn to match the neck warmer and this hat or some other hat I decide to make. 🙂

Oh yeah, I also put my Christmas tree up today, don’t know why I can’t seem to get a decent photo of it, so here’s a bad one. Christmas is around the corner, guess I need to do a little shopping. And knitting of course.

Tell me about it!
