Be a joiner!

Last night I went to my first IndyMadKnitters group meeting.
It was a lot of fun and I met some great women. Also got my picture taken and got posted on someone’s blog, other then mine. Thanks Linda!

Also, I found out that there’s a knit shop at Keystone at the Crossing. I didn’t even know it was there! Man, it seems like they are just coming out of the woodwork. I guess that’s what happens when you start really getting into something.

I knitted on my socks last night. I am really loving the pattern and I feel bad for saying that I wasn’t liking the yarn too much. But Janet told me last night that she thought that it might be the kind of yarn that feels better after some wear and washing.

I showed what I had to Amy and Kasey today. Kasey thinks I have too much time on my hands and I said, ‘When you break up with someone you have to find something to fill your time.” Am I wrong?

I’m still not done with the top of the sock. But hope to start entering heel territory soon.

Oh and Janet was using these really short needles dpn for her socks and I’m thinking I’m going to have to find me some. They look much easier to use then the dpn I’m using.

Tell me about it!
